Veritas Prep won the last time they faced Gilbert Classical Academy and Will Barrett did his part to make sure it happened again. The Falcons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Spartans on Saturday, sneaking past 51-48 for which the team can thank Barrett, who shot 64% from the field to rack up 14 points and six boards. He is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 53% in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.

The win made it two in a row for Veritas Prep and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Gilbert Classical Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Veritas Prep has already played their next game, a 67-48 victory against Madison Highland Prep on the 29th. As for Gilbert Classical Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Trivium Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
