The Faith Baptist School Falcons entered their tilt with the Concord Christian Academy Minutemen with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Faith Baptist School strolled past the Minutemen with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 60-43. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Faith Baptist School also won the last time the pair played last Friday.
Faith Baptist School was led to victory by Eli Miller and Zach Miller. Miller scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Miller scored 20 points along with six rebounds. Miller continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Juris, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Concord Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Carlin Hollis - Homeschool and Gabriel Franco. Hollis - Homeschool scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and six assists, while Franco scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Franco has scored all season.
Faith Baptist School pushed their record up to 11-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Concord Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Faith Baptist School will take on the Flames at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Greenwood Mennonite focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday. As for Concord Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge the Knights at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
