The Antelope Titans will venture away from home to face off against the Grant Pacers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Antelope is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Cordova on Friday. The Titans claimed a resounding 42-8 win over the Lancers. The Titans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Dominik Davis

09/26/25 vs McClatchy | 2 |
09/12/25 vs Placer | 1 |
One reason for the win was Antelope's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. Cordova's QB won't forget Dominik Davis anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Antelope is 2-1 when Davis posts one or more sacks, but 0-4 otherwise.
Meanwhile, Grant humbled West Park with a 38-3 victory. Given the Pacers' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Panthers are ranked 190th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
A big part of Grant's victory came down to the chemistry between Blake Nycum and his top target Koby Shabazz. Nycum threw for 249 yards and three TDs on only 19 passes while Shabazz picked up 65 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Grant proved: they limited West Park to a paltry 2.2 yards per carry. The team can thank Julian Bruno for the heroic effort on defense: he. Grant's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 3.8.
Grant didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dez Duncan and Bruno. Bruno has been hot, having also posted seven or more total tackles the last six times he's played. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
The win made it two in a row for Grant and bumps their season record up to 4-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 9 points in those games. As for Antelope, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-5.
Antelope took a serious blow against Grant in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 52-7. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
