Rio Grande got themselves on the board against Atrisco Heritage Academy on Tuesday, but Atrisco Heritage Academy never followed suit. They blew past the Jaguars 12-0. Considering the Ravens have won nine games by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Luis Salinas, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Andrew Salas also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The win was the seventh in a row for Rio Grande, bringing their record up to 15-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Atrisco Heritage Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-15 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rio Grande will welcome West Mesa at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Ravens are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Atrisco Heritage Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hope Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Jaguars' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
