Holmes won the last time they faced North Pitt and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Holmes Aces never let the North Pitt Panthers get on the board and left with  a   15-0  victory. She was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing  Two bases. while going 3-for-4. What's more,  she posted three  RBI, the most she's  had since back in February of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Harper Evans and  Jordan Ward did most of the damage at the plate:  Evans  scored three  runs and  stole  Four bases. while going 3-for-4, while  Ward  scored three  runs and  stole  Two bases. while going 2-for-3. Those  two  stolen bases gave  Ward a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Ainsley Parrish, who  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI and one  double.
 Holmes  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Pitt only posted  an  OBP of  .278.

The  win was  the third in a row for Holmes, bringing their record for this year to 3-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.7 runs. As for North Pitt,  they are  on  a  16-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
 Looking ahead, Holmes will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Bear Grass Charter  at 6:30  p.m. Holmes knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Bear Grass Charter likes a good challenge. As for North Pitt, they will head out to  square off against Martin County  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
