Mountain View was out to avenge their 18-40 loss to Salem from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Mountain View found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-30 punch to the gut against Salem on Friday. This makes it the second loss in a row for Mountain View.
The defeat dropped Mountain View's record to 0-2. The win got Salem out to a 1-0 start for the season.
Mountain View have some extra time to regroup and restrategize before their next game, which is against Harrisburg at 7:00 PM in two weeks. Mountain View continues their travels as they hit the road for the second straight game. Salem are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Yellville-Summit next week at 7:00 PM.
