Klein's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Peyton Williams, who scored seven points. Cor'liyah Payne was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Klein struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Cypress Springs posted 15 assists.
Cypress Springs' victory bumped their record up to 28-2. As for Klein, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-17.
