Joey Wade's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hundred over Southern
While Joey Wade delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Hundred. Wade was unstoppable, rushing for 85 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
Hundred is on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. Wade and Hundred will head out to face off against Paden City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Zachary Putnam Makes It Two for Conotton Valley
The second Conotton Valley player making an appearance here is Zachary Putnam, and for good reason. He threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
Frontier had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Putnam it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Putnam saw the Cougars), he threw for 225 yards and four touchdowns on only 16 passes.
