Carl Junction is 1-8 against the Tigers since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Last Tuesday, Carl Junction wound up with the same score they had in their last game (66-62), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. It was the first time this season that they let down their fans at home.

Meanwhile, Willard narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Houn Dawgs 85-83. Given Willard's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Houn Dawgs are ranked 218th), the result last Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
