The Eukarya Christian Academy Lions lost against the Grace Christian Warriors back in December of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Eukarya Christian Academy was the victim of a rough 50-30 loss at the hands of Grace Christian. Eukarya Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Grace Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Davis Reid led the charge by scoring 11 points along with eight assists and five rebounds. Those eight assists set a new season-high mark for him. Justin Hain was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Eukarya Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Grace Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.
Eukarya Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Shenandoah Valley Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th. Grace Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Redeemer Classical at 6:00 p.m. on January 5th. Redeemer Classical will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 419th, while Grace Christian is ranked 207th).
