Stoner has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kinyon Miller, who went 5-for-6 en route to 14 points.
Leading Doniphan-Trumbull to victory were Jack Poppe and Parker Volk. Poppe dropped a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds, while Volk shot 81% from the field on his way to 29 points and six boards. The dominant performance gave Poppe a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Askey, who posted four points and five boards.
Fillmore Central's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 20-5. As for Doniphan-Trumbull, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-6.
