South Fork is 8-2 against Treasure Coast since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will venture away from home to square off against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. Treasure Coast took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on South Fork, who comes in off a win.
South Fork had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Port St. Lucie on Monday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 15-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won eight in a row.

MacKenzie Cisco was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zoe Wilson, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
South Fork always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .643. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Treasure Coast was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 13-1 to Martin County. The loss continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.
Treasure Coast saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kathryn Worley, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
South Fork pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Treasure Coast, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
Wednesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. South Fork hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .325. However, it's not like Treasure Coast struggles in that department as they've averaged .330. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went South Fork's way against Treasure Coast in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as South Fork made off with a 14-7 win. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
