The Hollywood Hills Spartans had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost to Monarch on the road by a decisive 61-46 margin on Friday. Hollywood Hills has struggled against Monarch recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Monarch to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cody Dinnall, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Dinnall has scored at least 25% of Monarch's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kensey Bewley , who scored 13 points.
Hollywood Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Monarch, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Hollywood Hills will head out on the road to face off against Boyd Anderson at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Boyd Anderson is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Monarch, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Deerfield Beach at 7:30 p.m. on December 6th.
