It was a good run, but American Fork unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Lehi Pioneers by a score of 8-7. The Cavemen were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pioneers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.
Kenny Johnson was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
