Basketball Recap: Greenfield-Central Makes It Ten in a Row at Home

Greenfield-Central extended their home winning streak to ten games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Braylon Mullins. The Greenfield-Central Cougars blew past the Decatur Central Hawks 78-39 on Tuesday thanks in part to Mullins, who shot 7-for-10 from deep and dropped a double-double on 32 points and ten rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Cole Mullins, who made all 5 shots he took racking up 14 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Decatur Central lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Lavell Love, who posted eight points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Hopson, who had nine points.

Greenfield-Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Decatur Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Greenfield-Central will challenge New Palestine at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Greenfield-Central has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 197 points over their last three games. As for Decatur Central, they will face off against Roncalli at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Roncalli will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Decatur Central surely won't give up without a fight.
