Spring Creek suffered their biggest defeat since December 29, 2023 on Saturday. They were the victim of a tough 46-25 defeat at the hands of Churchill County.
Meanwhile, Dayton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Fernley, falling 54-9. Dayton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-8.
Spring Creek has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Dayton, they dropped their record down to 6-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Spring Creek strolled past Dayton in their previous meeting on January 12th by a score of 41-26. Will Spring Creek repeat their success, or does Dayton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
