After flying high against the Webster Warriors last Friday, the Nathan Hale Rangers came back down to earth. Nathan Hale fell 59-46 to Coweta on Thursday. Nathan Hale was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Coweta apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Coweta to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Cooper, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Jensen, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
Nathan Hale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Coweta, they pushed their record up to 6-8 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nathan Hale will square off against Fort Gibson on Friday. As for Coweta, they will head out on the road to take on Stilwell on Friday.
