The Green Sea Floyds Trojans posted their biggest victory since December 11, 2023 on Friday. They put the hurt on Hemingway with a sharp 44-19 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Green Sea Floyds has posted against Hemingway since January 12, 2018.
Green Sea Floyds found their leader in underclassman Tanisha Myers, who scored eight points along with 15 rebounds and four steals. Myers is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Paris McClellan, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Green Sea Floyds and bumps their season record up to 7-12. As for Hemingway, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Green Sea Floyds will take on Lake View at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake View will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Hemingway, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Scott's Branch at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th.
