Green Sea Floyds found their leader in underclassman Tanisha Myers, who scored eight points along with 15 rebounds and four steals. Myers is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Paris McClellan, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Green Sea Floyds and bumps their season record up to 7-12. As for Hemingway, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Green Sea Floyds will take on Lake View at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake View will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Hemingway, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Scott's Branch at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th.
