The Calhoun Tigers will be playing at home against the Autaugaville Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Calhoun's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Autaugaville has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
Calhoun had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Ellwood Christian 84-45 at home on Tuesday. Calhoun has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.
Calhoun got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brenterris Managan out in front who scored 15 points along with four steals. Tyler Robertson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Autaugaville didn't have too much trouble with Central on the road on Tuesday as they won 63-47.
Calhoun has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Autaugaville, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
