The Riverdale Ridge Ravens will take on the Mountain Range Mustangs at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Riverdale Ridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9  runs per game  this season.
Last Tuesday, Riverdale Ridge beat Brighton 8-4. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Ravens.
 Landon Brophy was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nick Williams, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
 Riverdale Ridge  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brighton only posted  an  OBP of  .323.
Meanwhile, Mountain Range was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight  defeat. They were a single  run away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Horizon.
 Mountain Range saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Noah Espinoza, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3. Espinoza is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last four games he's  played.
 Riverdale Ridge pushed their record up to 11-5 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Mountain Range, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
 Riverdale Ridge took their  victory against Mountain Range  in their previous matchup  back in March by a conclusive  11-0 score. Will the Ravens repeat their success,  or do  the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
