Chazy will challenge Bolton Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Chazy took a loss when they played away from home on April 14th, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They blew past Wells 29-1. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wells CSD: they've now won six in a row.
Tate Stevens and Zeke McLennan made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Stevens pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, McLennan struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. At the plate, Stevens got on base in two of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while McLennan earned one RBI and three runs.

Chazy pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Bolton Central, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.
Bolton Central's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Chazy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .406. It's a different story for Bolton Central, though, as they've only averaged .256. Will they be able to contain Chazy's hitters?
