Pataula Charter Academy has struggled against Randolph-Clay recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Je'Sus Daniels was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals for Randolph-Clay. Another player making a difference was Jaleen Gibson, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Pataula Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Randolph-Clay, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pataula Charter Academy will challenge Miller County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Miller County is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 51.2 points per game. Randolph-Clay's road trip will continue as they head out to face Calhoun County at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Calhoun County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Randolph-Clay likes a good challenge.
