There's no place like home for Farina South Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Neoga Indians a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by ten runs or more this season.

Farina South Central got a massive performance out of Kyra Swift, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Swift has posted since back in April of 2024. Perci Reid was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Farina South Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Neoga only posted a batting average of .125.

Farina South Central now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Neoga, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Farina South Central will head out to take on Teutopolis at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Neoga, they will be playing at home against North Clay/Clay City at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Neoga is facing North Clay/Clay City at the right time seeing as North Clay/Clay City is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
