Reading is  a perfect 4-0 against Lebanon since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Reading Red KNights will welcome the Lebanon Cedars  at 4:00  p.m. After  the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents,  one won't be so lucky on Friday.
On Wednesday, Reading got the win against Harrisburg  by a conclusive  19-2. The  matchup marked the Red KNights' most dominant  victory of the  season so far.
Meanwhile, Lebanon had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on Garden Spot with a sharp  15-2 win on Monday.
 Sereniti Zidik made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Zidik was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news, Lebanon got a  massive  performance out of  Makenzie Swisher, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Katrina Leary, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Lebanon  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Garden Spot only posted  an  OBP of  .333.
Reading now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lebanon, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
 Everything went Reading's way against Lebanon when the teams last played  back in March of 2024, as Reading made off with  a  12-2 win. Will Reading repeat their success,  or does  Lebanon have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
