There's no place like home for Winder-Barrow, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 78-41 win over the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes. The Bulldoggs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.

Winder-Barrow's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.1 points. As for Monroe Area, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winder-Barrow will be home for the holidays to greet Alcovy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alcovy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Winder-Barrow likes a good challenge. As for Monroe Area, they will be playing at home against Oglethorpe County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Monroe Area is facing Oglethorpe County at the right time seeing as Oglethorpe County is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
