West Rowan waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Alexander Central Cougars by a score of 8-4. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.
Maddox Moore made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024.
