The Rivercrest Rebels lost to the Bowie Pirates back in January, but the Rivercrest Rebels didn't allow the Bowie Pirates the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Rivercrest came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 34-24. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Rivercrest.
Rivercrest had a senior duo take command as Anna Duvall scored 16 points along with three steals and Alexis Case scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Duvall has scored at least a third of Rivercrest's points.
Rivercrest's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-19. As for Bowie, their loss dropped their record down to 16-11.
Rivercrest will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bowie, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Maud has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 5.
