The West Port Wolf Pack's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were the clear victor by a 35-14 margin over East Ridge. With West Port ahead 21-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
West Port got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nasir Allen out in front who rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown. Those 134 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Allen. Dedrick Grady was another key contributor, picking up 122 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
West Port's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 6-3. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 8.3 points per game. As for East Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
West Port does not have any more games scheduled as of now. East Ridge is also done with their season.
