The Sierra Canyon Trailblazers can now show off 16 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Crespi 84-57 at home. Winning may never get old, but Sierra Canyon sure is getting used to it with their 14th in a row.
Crespi's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joe Sterling, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds. Peyton White was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Sierra Canyon's win was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36.09 points. As for Crespi, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-5.
Sierra Canyon will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. St. Francis will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while Sierra Canyon is ranked sixth). As for Crespi, they will head out on the road to face off against Chaminade at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Chaminade focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
