Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wawasee). They managed a 53-49 win over the Whitko Wildcats on Saturday. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 58-53 loss the last time these two teams met.

Wawasee's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4. As for Whitko, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wawasee will be home for the holidays to greet Warsaw at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Warsaw will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Wawasee surely won't give up without a fight. Whitko and Adams Central will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
