Defeat or not, Citronelle got some senior leadership from Justin Adams who scored 12 points and Fabion Averhart who scored 11 points along with 3 blocks. Adams scored a full 30% of Citronelle's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Joshua Rivers was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 9 rebounds.
Citronelle's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
Citronelle will look to defend their home court on Friday against Chickasaw at 7:30 p.m. Chickasaw will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they will head out on the road to face off against Vigor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Vigor has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 498 points over their last seven contests.
