South Allegheny put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Carlynton Cougars 53-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Gladiators just coasted through the last quarter.
A big part of South Allegheny's victory came down to the chemistry between Alijah Cook and his top target Hakim Harrell. Cook threw for 218 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes while Harrell rushed for 64 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries. 93 of Cook's passing yards were hauled in by Drew Cook, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
South Allegheny's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Carlynton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
