The Griswold Wolverines will head out to  challenge the Windham Whippets  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  both  will really light up the scoreboard.
 Last Friday, Griswold made easy work of Montville  and carried off  a  42-19 win.
 Meanwhile, Windham strolled past New London with  points to spare on Friday, taking the game  42-28. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Whippets.
 A big part of Windham's  victory came down to the chemistry between  Francisco Alvarado and his top target  Deshawn Chapman. Alvarado rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns while  Chapman rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
 The  win  got Griswold back to even at 1-1. As for Windham, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
 Griswold was able to grind out a solid  win over Windham when the teams last played  back in October of 2018, winning  20-8. Does  Griswold have another victory up their sleeve, or will Windham turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
