After having lost a blowout to McFarland in their previous game, Jefferson was happy to find some success on Friday. Jefferson won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Evansville/Albany 14-13. That result is just more of the same for Jefferson, who also won the last time these teams played.
The win got Jefferson back to even at 1-1. The loss dropped Evansville/Albany's record to 0-2.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week, Jefferson take on Brodhead/Juda at 7:00 PM. Evansville/Albany will look to defend their home turf next week against Turner at 7:00 PM.
