Cushing had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Sunday. They blew past the Chisholm Longhorns 12-4. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 13 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Cushing pushed their record up to 21-9 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Chisholm, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-9.

Cushing will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Longhorns: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
