She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times she's played.
In other batting news, Ireland Sheehan was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Telisha Sayles, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Del Sol, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
