The Riverside Christian Wranglers's 31-2 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 54-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Redeemer Christian on Tuesday. Riverside Christian has not had much luck with Redeemer Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Riverside Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kyle Spratlin, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. Spratlin continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Willie Clines, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Riverside Christian's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Redeemer Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
Riverside Christian will head out on the road to face off against Dixie County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Redeemer Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against St. John Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully St. John Lutheran focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Tuesday.
