Last Tuesday, Vista Ridge ended up a good deal behind Vandegrift and lost 45-26. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Vista Ridge in their matchups with Vandegrift: they've now lost five in a row.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from James Hester, who scored six points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sneed Cayden, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Round Rock earned a 51-40 win over Cedar Ridge on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Round Rock.
Vista Ridge has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season. As for Round Rock, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.
Vista Ridge lost to Round Rock on the road by a decisive 71-56 margin in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Vista Ridge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
