The East Liverpool Potters won against the Claymont Mustangs on Thursday with 57 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. East Liverpool blew past Claymont 57-17 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-11.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Liverpool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dacianelle Andrews, who scored 14 points along with 5 steals. Another player making a difference was Kenzie Headley, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 blocks.
The win makes it two in a row for East Liverpool and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Claymont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
East Liverpool will head out on the road to face off against Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Catholic Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Thursday. As for Claymont, they will be playing at home against Hiland at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
