It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Red Mountain Mountain Lions had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Red Mountain.
Red Mountain has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10-2 record this season. As for Gila Ridge, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5.
Red Mountain will head out on the road to challenge Perry at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Perry will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Red Mountain surely won't give up without a fight. Gila Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
