PikeView and Princeton are an even 5-5 against one another  since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Panthers will take on the Tigers in a tournament  on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (PikeView has nine straight  victories, Princeton has 11 straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
PikeView saw some tournament action  on Friday. They walked away with  an   8-3  win over Graham.
 Eli Naylor was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Eli Hilling was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. What's more,  he posted three  RBI, the most he's  had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Landon Wyatt, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Princeton didn't have quite enough to beat Graham on Tuesday and fell  9-8.
  Landon Crane was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with four  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Wyatt Cline, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 PikeView pushed their record up to 9-1 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Princeton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. PikeView has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 4.6  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Princeton struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 2.9  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 PikeView took their  victory against Princeton  in their previous matchup  on Thursday by a conclusive  7-1 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success,  or do  the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
