Bob Hope's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alijah Airiavbere, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Airiavbere scored a full 38.9% of Bob Hope's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Juan Tovar, who scored ten points.
Bob Hope's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Liberty, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Bob Hope is on the road again on Friday and play against Buna at 1:00 p.m. on December 1st. As for Liberty, they will take on Coldspring-Oakhurst at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Coldspring-Oakhurst is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
