It was another big night for Kennedy Austin, who dropped a triple-double on 14 points, 12 rebounds, and ten steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Addison Marcus was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Connelly School of the Holy Child faced St. Andrew's Episcopal in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Connelly School of the Holy Child was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 52-51 to St. Andrew's Episcopal. Connelly School of the Holy Child has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Maret has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Connelly School of the Holy Child, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.
