The Chrisman Cardinals can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against Westville by a score of 56-45. The win was just what Chrisman needed coming off of a 74-33 loss in their prior contest.
Leading Chrisman to victory were Gavin McCord and Triston Lehmkuhl. McCord scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Lehmkuhl scored 17 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Chris Francis, who scored eight points.
Chrisman's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-15. As for Westville, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-8 record this season.
Chrisman will stay at home for another game and welcome the at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. Westville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th.
