The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. East Bridgewater will square off against Seekonk at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
After some red-hot point totals in their last 3 games, East Bridgewater fizzled out last Friday. They were dealt a punishing 7-44 loss at the hands of Scituate. The low total for East Bridgewater limited their streak of high-flying scores to three in a row.
Meanwhile, we expected Seekonk to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked Dighton-Rehoboth Regional, and they did. Seekonk found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 13-45 punch to the gut against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
