Basketball Game Preview: Apostolic Christian vs. Knoxville Christian Knights

Apostolic Christian and Knoxville Christian are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. Apostolic Christian will venture away from home to square off against the Knoxville Christian Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Apostolic Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.

Last Thursday, Apostolic Christian was fully in charge, breezing past Paideia Academy 68-34. Apostolic Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 24 points or more this season.

Apostolic Christian can attribute much of their success to Brady Wilson, who went 9 of 12 on his way to 18 points along with eight assists and seven boards, and Rogan Bailey, who went 5 of 9 en route to 12 points in addition to six boards and four steals. Bailey has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Wilson, who posted nine points.

Meanwhile, Knoxville Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 67-25 loss at the hands of Foundation Christian Academy.

Apostolic Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points per game. As for Knoxville Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything came up roses for Apostolic Christian against Knoxville Christian in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the squad secured an 83-53 win. In that game, Apostolic Christian amassed a halftime lead of 48-20, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
