Softball Recap: Lincoln Park Beats Trinity for Their Third Straight Win

Lincoln Park took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Trinity, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lions had just enough and edged out the Blazers 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on three straight.

Susanna Morris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Lincoln Park's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Lindsey Shraiberg, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Lincoln Park's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

Coming up, Lincoln Park is taking a road trip to square off against Payton College Prep at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Trinity, they will welcome St. Francis at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
