Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Farmington's 12th in Last 15 Outings

Farmington barely beat Weber the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Phoenix blew past the Warriors 3-0 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 on April 10th.

Farmington got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-28, 25-16, 25-23.

Pearce Eliason paced Farmington's offense, picking up 18 kills. Eliason got some help from Tavin Fulton and his 38 assists. Finally, Tucker Blackham and Yuvraj Multani kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked three attacks.

Farmington has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Weber, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Farmington is set to take on their familiar foe Syracuse at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Weber will challenge rival Fremont at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
