In other batting news, Ava Midgett was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Hall, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, American Heritage came up short against Spanish River on Monday, falling 21-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Stallions in their meetings with the Sharks: they've now lost six in a row.

American Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Somerset Academy - Canyons, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Somerset Academy - Canyons has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .475.
