On Friday, while the Sallisaw Black Diamonds put up some points, the same can't be said for the Madill Wildcats. Sallisaw simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Madill 27-0 on the road. The result was nothing new for Sallisaw, who have now won three games by 24 points or more so far this season.
Sallisaw can attribute much of their success to Brock Streun, who threw for 70 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Sallisaw's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Madill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
Sallisaw will head out on the road to face off against Cushing at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Cushing's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last four contests. Madill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
